For as much as I make pizza (3-4 times a week!), I’m really shocked that I haven’t put this recipe up on my site yet. It’s super simple, tasty and you can freeze it!
3/4 cup warm water
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (plus a little extra to drizzle on the dough to give it it’s crispiness)
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon yeast
See your bread machine’s guide for the order the ingredients should go in. Turn on to dough setting. My bread machine takes 1 hr and 20 minutes to finish, I’m sure others will vary. After your dough is done, sprinkle flour on a flat surface. Place dough on floured surface and sprinkle dough with flour. Roll out with a rolling pin. Sprinkle pizza pan or pizza stone with cornmeal then place the dough on it. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on the dough and brush all around. Add sauce, desired toppings, and bake at 425 degrees until done.
**NOTES** If using a pizza pan, you’ll want to preheat your oven. If you are using a pizza stone then there is no need to preheat.
