I made this recipe a few weeks ago when my sister came down to visit. It was a cold evening so I wanted to bake something warm. My sister loves cookie dough so I thought why not make something that can be both? This recipe turned out so good, warm and still dough/gooey like in the middle. Even better when you top it off with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream!
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 11.5 oz package milk chocolate chips
6 souffle dishes (note in the picture, I used an oven-safe glass dish so you can see the inside)
Preheat oven to 350 F. Stir flour with baking soda; set aside. Beat butter with sugars at medium speed until creamy. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed until blended.
Gradually blend flour mixture into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Scoop dough into souffle dishes, filling about half way. Bake in oven about 15-18 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remember, the middle of the pie will still be gooey! Top with vanilla ice cream or any kind of toppings that you desire. Enjoy!
